The Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration has recalled two 'herbal' medicines , Excite for women and Ultimates for men. Both products were manufactured in Malaysia and imported by Herbal Health International Pty Ltd.
The products indicated for helping to support libido, sexual function and sex drive, have been found to contain a prescription only medicine, Sildenafil, which could give rise to health consequences, especially for patients with existing medical conditions such as heart problems, or persons at risk of a stroke.
Whilst there is no evidence that these products have found their way onto the UK market consumers are warned to be vigilant.
