WHO facilitates access to influenza A(H5N1) viruses by qualified laboratories. To promote this, WHO has developed a Highly Pathogenic Influenza Virus Transfer Form.

The form requests specific information, including the use of the viruses and written confirmation from national authorities in support of the virus transfer request.
