The University of Warwick and The Royal College of Nursing are delighted to announce that they have formed a new strategic research partnership. The RCN Research Institute will now be based in the University of Warwick's School of Health and Social Studies.
Professor Gillian Hundt, Chair of the University of Warwick's School of Health & Social Studies said:
"The partnership will expand national knowledge of a range of crucial themes for UK health care including enhanced patient involvement, a better understanding of Patient reported health outcomes and the evidence base for innovation in nursing care, and knowledge transfer from research into practice."
Professor Kate Seers, Head of Research, Head of RCNI said:
"This is an exciting opportunity to continue to develop our programme of national and international research with a range of academic, health service and patient partners to enhance our knowledge base for improving patient care, and to influence health policy. We're really looking forward to collaborating with colleagues at Warwick, and continuing to work closely with the RCN."
