From 7 to 12 September, the EUREP (European Urology Residents Education Programme) will again be organised in Prague (CZ). The venue for both the scientific programme and social activities is the http://www.tophotel.cz/en.

The EUREP is designed for European urological residents in their final year of training. The aim of the programme is to provide optimal theoretical and practical urological education in all fields of urology for all European urological residents.

EUREP does not compete with existing educational programmes for urological residents, but rather aims to give a supranational dimension to education in Europe. This teaching programme has been developed and created exclusively for all European urological residents. EUREP provides an almost complete update and overview of modern urological practice presented by a distinguished European faculty.

The EUREP is a full six-day course comprising five modules (urological cancers (module 1), prostate cancer and BPH (module 2), andrology, stones and upper tract endourology (module 3), functional urology (module 4) and paediatric urology, trauma and infection (module 5)) Each day is made up of two sessions and lasts about seven hours. Morning sessions feature state-of-the-art lectures while afternoon sessions offer interactive case discussions, videos, and test the residents' knowledge segments.

Participants are tested in a multiple choice evaluation after sessions. At the end of each EUREP programme, residents can take their European Board of Urology (EBU) exams (see http://www.ebu.com) and obtain the title Fellow of the European Board of Urology (a mark of excellence).

The EUREP programme is an initiative of the European School of Urology (ESU) in collaboration with the EBU.
