All supplies of the dietary supplement, Zencore Tabs, sold by Bodee LLC, have been recalled nationwide because the product contains potentially harmful, undeclared ingredients.

The Department of Consumer Protection is reminding consumers who already have this product at home to discontinue its use to avoid possible health complications.

In recent tests, the Food and Drug Administration found that two different lots of Zencore Tabs contained active ingredients for FDA-approved drugs for erectile dysfunction. These undeclared chemicals may pose a threat to consumers because they may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs (such as nitroglycerin), and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.

Thus far, no reports of injury have been received; however, consumers who have this product should stop using it immediately.

Zencore Tabs are sold in health food stores and by mail order nationwide. Customers should contact their doctor if they have experienced any problems that may be related to taking this product. The company has advised that any unused portion be returned to Bodee, LLC for a full purchase price refund by calling (800) 935-0296 for instructions on the return and refund process.
