On Saturday 15th September Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) Scotland, in cooperation with Moray Council, is inviting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) young people along to a consultation about a new youth group in the area. The consultation will be held at the New Elgin School Annexe from 1pm to 3pm.
THT Scotland is inviting all LGBT 14 - 26 year olds in the Elgin area along to discuss what they would like from a group, from how often it meets, to the kinds of activities which are offered. Refreshments will be provided.
Alan Parker, from Terrence Higgins Trust in Aberdeen said "LGBT young people in the North East of Scotland can sometimes feel a bit isolated so this new group is a great opportunity for them to get together and support each other, hopefully on a regular basis. If you're interested, please come along on Saturday. We'd love to hear your views!"
The meeting will be held at New Elgin Primary School Annexe, Bezack Street, New Elgin, IV30 6DP. If you'd like further information on the consultation in the meantime, please contact Alan Parker on 0845 241 2151.
