In response to queries from people with MS, the MS Society has developed a new research section on the website called 'In the Spotlight'.
This section delivers evidence based information to people affected by MS about therapies and treatments which are often in the media, such as cannabis, LDN and stem cells.
Reporting of such therapies varies a great deal. Equally, there are no controls over what is posted on the internet and no regulations over the validity of information written there. This section aims to give people affected by MS clear and accurate information on medical developments related to MS.
It will work in tandem with our 'Potential Therapies' section and it is hoped 'In the Spotlight' will address the questions and concerns raised by people with MS by focusing on relevant topics which are often in the media.
