The winning article must be:

- Focused on a sexual health issue. This could include sex and relationships education, sexual health services, sexually transmitted infections, sexuality and gender, sex and the law, pregnancy, abortion or contraception.

- Medically sound.

Only one entry per journalist is accepted. Entries must have been published between 1st January - 31st December 2007. The winner will be announced in July 2008.
