The Minister for Health and Children, Mary Harney, T.D., recently announced the development of a new National Oral Health Policy

This new oral health policy will be undertaken by the Department of Health and Children, in conjunction with the HSE. The development of this new national policy will allow a critical examination of the many challenges and issues currently facing the dental sector in Ireland.

The Department of Health and Children is now seeking submissions from members of the public or interested groups on the new National Oral Health Policy.
