Saturated Fats Do Not Deserve The Reputation They Have

This paper: The Questionable Role of Saturated and
Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids in Cardiovascular Disease published in J Clin Epidemiol Vol. 51, No. 6, pp. 443-460, 1998 sheds solid light on this subject.
And using Grandma's sticky buns as an example of a food high in saturated fat is a poor example. Grandma's sticky buns are primarily refined carbohydrate - the real demon and purveyor of ill health.
