Simvastatin Results
posted by Carolyn on 04 Nov 2009 at 1:25 pmI have been reading your articles about Parkinson's for some time since my son-in-law has been under treatment for a couple of years now. I am going to send him this article. But, I remembered that I am taking Since I have been taking Simvastatin for cholesterol problems for some time now. I am wondering if they will in some way protect me from developing Parkinson's?

Yes, you are right. Researchers reported 60 to 70% risk reductions for each individual statin except pravastatin. Please see the following link:
