CDC Reluctance To Endorse Causes Deaths
posted by James Mendenhall on 04 Nov 2009 at 2:42 pmMy local public health department has refused to go beyond the CDC guidelines that only persons over 65 or with issues need get the vaccine. Canada is more responsive by saying in their PLAN that the pneumonia vaccine should be used more till the H1N1 vaccine is available.
USA should also make this aware to people, but the CDC is holding them back from saying that. As a result people young, with no underlying issues have died and might have been saved, who knows? It is a sad situation, most people should get the pneumonia vaccine and it should not cost over $50.00 to get one locally.
Shame on our system!
