I think any woman who has the guts to kill an unborn child has no love for anything. People say it is just a fetus - well that fetus is going to be a human being. I feel that abortions are right, depending on the circumstances. If a woman or young girl was brutally raped and became pregnant, I feel that it is her choice to have an abortion or not. I also feel that before anybody has an abortion they should talk to a health care professional about their decision. When it comes to abortions, again! I don’t and will not believe in them. It is murder for innocent and helpless being. There should be “no reason” at all why you should get an abortion. Sometimes you just have to sit and think, “Why do I want my baby murdered” Doctor’s are being paid to kill a baby, off abortion. Personally, those doctor’s who do abortions should be ashamed, and embarrassed for helping one murder, just for money. Realize that money isn’t about life, and life isn’t about money. I feel that abortion can be done because you might have been raped and don't really want to bring up the child for them. Abortions are not such a clear picture. I do not think anyone truly argues that taking life is wrong. But it is not usually that they are arguing. They are arguing wether or not it is the woman's choice to do so. In this case, it is like going to war or the death penalty. Which I find odd, because often, people who are AGAINST Abortion or perfectly fine with the Death Penalty and War. That is because, again, you are arguing for a different thing other than taking life. You are arguing for Judgement and Defense. But in the end, they all could be basically summed up by saying 'Do you have the right to choose to end life, ever'. How people agree with one of those three topics and disagree on others truly makes me wonder.
As for a response to 'Abortion is Murder' in regards to physcians who perform "abortions should be ashamed, and embarrassed for helping one murder, just for money". Firstly, I truly hope the medical field is in it for something other than money (though it's hard sometimes to see that particularly in the large pharmacutical companies). As a hopeful future-physician, I believe it is NEVER my duty to influence anyone according to my personal beliefs, beyond what is medically approperiate for them. If the law later prohibits me in this state to not perform abortions, I will not do so. If I permitted so, I will do so up to the point where my patient (the mother) will not be in danger herself. So to that affect, I think it is a very dangerous thing for the medical community as a whole to comment on such an issue with any absolute terms. Each hospital may have its own limit, but I imagine they usually do so within the bounds of law and up to the point when complications put the mother in danger.| previous page | post followup | alert a moderator | |

I am very saddened by the fact that there are a lot of women, especially teenagers who resort to abortion.... and i am very disappointed to know that the most common reason for such is that they fear what they will "lose" if the fetus would be given the chance to mature in the mother's womb till it reaches the point where it is ready to come out and see the world... they are afraid of the consequences of their actions... they are "not prepared"....

MY name is Gilbert (chino). I am 17 yrs old i attend Arvin High School in Arvin California. In my Opinion Abortion should not be an option. It is a sin and should be banned. Women often make this decision because they are either too young and can't take care of them, or were raped.
But have you ever thought of the fact that it is a innocent life you're killing? The fetus has no fault whatsoever. The parents very well knew what they were doing and knew the upcoming consequences. I think it is wrong for people who have never been faced with the choice to post how wrong they think abortion is. I am 17 years old and I used to be against abortion. When I was 14, I got pregnant and I knew I would not be able to support a child.
Also the father of the child was 18 and would have gone to jail had anyone known. As it turned out we decided that an abortion would be the best possible option for our situation. Now I am pregnant again but we are more prepared. I am still with the same man and eagerly awaiting the arrival of our daughter.
Before I got pregnant the first time, I believed that I was completely against abortions. But when I was faced with the choice, it was the best option we could think of. Sure, sometimes I regret it but I don't believe I made the wrong choice. I think people should be careful what they say and how they say it. | I Gave Baby Up For Adoption |

When I was 14 I got pregnant. I did not want to raise the child as I was too young and did not want to have a baby. I talked about it to my parents. We decided I would have the baby and give it up for adoption.
The baby was adopted. This was 24 years ago.
Two months ago a young lady came to visit me. "I am your daughter." We chatted and she understood why I could not keep her. Before she left, she said "Thank you for giving me life."
My biological daughter is now a Lawyer in London, UK.
Abortion is not the only choice if you don't want to have the child. With supporting and non-judgemental parents, you can have the child and make sure it goes to a good home.

Can you tell me what is the point of killing an unborn child and putting yourself in danger when you could put your child up for adoption. Take care of it, or protect yourself from having one. After getting pregnant, even if you do put your child up for adoption, you are a mother to that child and there is nothing in the world that will ever change that.. A 12 year-old girl has three choices.
1. Have the baby and keep it.
2. Have an abortion.
3. Have the baby and give it up for adoption.
