Paxil "where is it gone"

posted by Linda Ford on 09 Nov 2005 at 8:45 pm

I can only take Brand name Paxil, the generic does not do anything for me. I keep being told be my doctor and pharmaist that they can't get it from the manufactuor because there is on backorder , and that includes everywhere in Canada......... What will happen or what is happening?

Help Me Soon

I don't know what I'm going to do -- I've been on Paxil for 13 years and the generic brand doesn't help. My doctor increased my dosage by 50% but it still isn't helping. Will the manufacturers just let us drift into madness -- don't they care?

Need Paxil
posted by Debbie on 13 Jan 2006 at 11:25 am
I am having the same problem. How can they do this? I have been all over looking for it. I can see how they've had problems with people on the generic form. I do not feel the same and have noticed an underlying depression I can't shake! Help!

I need Paxil too
posted by Billie on 10 Apr 2006 at 5:09 pm
I'm going thru the same ordeal as others--I was able to get paxil last Nov. dropshipped to my pharmacy - I got this info from Glaxo. Everyone call them and tell them what we are going thru - I've been on Paxil for 11 yrs--tried many others--still get "withdrawal symptoms" that many Drs. do not understand. I can't take (or should I rephrase) Paxil CR still leaves me with withdrawal symptoms. (ears ring, anxiousnous, dizzy, etc) Glaxo still says the drug is "back-ordered"

Glaxco/makers Of Paxil Strikes Again!
posted by michelle on 03 Oct 2006 at 1:43 pm
This is ridiculous. Why such important warnings not to stop paxil abruptly, yet they make everyone who takes it stop abruptly. This is inexcusable to allow people taking this medication to go through this. This is the 3rd time in a year in half that this has happened. Someone somewhere should fine that glaxo/smithkline company, very irresponsible business practice.

Paxil
posted by W.M on 06 Jan 2007 at 9:48 am
I came by this post. I have had the same problem ...no brand name paxil and the generic is crap. I just stopped taking it all together but now, after a year or so, I'm feeling some depression and anxiety again. I wish I could start back up on Paxil.
