| Cure For MdDS Suggested By My ENT And It Worked! |

I went to an acupuncturist and within two visits my sensations gradually went away. I have MdDS from December 13, 2008, after a five day cruise, and went to an MD in February of 2009. He didn't have a clue what to do for me other than sending me to an ENT specialist.
He then told me what I had and suggested for me to have acupuncture. Sure enough, slowly (within days), I came back down to earth. Having a normal day without floating is so wonderful. |

I also saw an acupuncturist for my MdDS symptoms, with good news I'll explain below. I had a non-stop rocking sensation after a 4-hour flight. It came on about an hour after I landed. I saw my family physician twice and an ENT doctor, and both were not sure what was wrong. Nothing was wrong with my ears, and hearing tests came back normal. I went to the E.R. one day, and all results were normal, including a cat scan. This was over the course of three weeks.
I made an appointment with a neurologist who diagnosed me with MdDS. He put me on valium for three weeks. The same day, I saw an acupuncturist, as it was already scheduled and I was desperate. The symptoms were driving me crazy. I felt disabled and would try anything to feel better. Well, after four days of valium, and two treatments of acupuncture, my symptoms completely vanished and have not come back. Valium calms the vestibular system and allows the brain to retrain itself to the rocking sensation. Acupuncture restores balance to your system when stress and/or pain are causing disruption. If you have MdDS symptoms, there is hope. Please make an appointment with a neurologist and consider acupuncture. Do not give up and accept these horrible symptoms! |
