Tempo Move is a smaller and more affordable version of the Tempo Studio home gym, which is a fitness mirror. It connects through an iPhone app to a TV using the Tempo Core device.

Similar to the original Tempo Studio, it uses a 3D tracking system called 3D Tempo Vision to deliver instant feedback and provide guidance on workouts.

The 3D Tempo Vision tracks the user’s movement to provide them with personalized guidance on correct posture and form. In the Tempo Move model, the 3D Tempo Vision requires the use of an iPhone with a camera.

Alongside form correction, Tempo Move tracks a person’s performance, tailoring training while setting the pace and counting repetitions. It also provides live and on-demand classes and uses interactive weights.

Currently, the customer reviews on the Tempo Studio website give the device an average of 4.9 out of 5 stars.

To use Tempo Move, a person needs access to a TV or monitor that has an HDMI port. They also need an iPhone to download the Tempo Move app.

The iPhones that are compatible with the app are:

  • iPhone XR
  • iPhone XS series
  • iPhone 11 series
  • Phone 12 series
  • iPhone 13 series

A person then connects their iPhone to the Tempo Core, a small docking device that sits on top of the weights cabinet. The Tempo Core device connects to a TV or monitor with an HDMI cable. It is possible to move the Tempo Core away from the weights cabinet, as long as it remains connected through the HDMI cable to the TV or monitor.

The individual then uses the app to choose a class or start a workout. Music is also available to play through the app during the workout. A person can also pause or stop a workout and edit the free weights information.
