Dr. Mourtzinos listened to my concerns, did a thorough examination, follow up testing, and then made some suggestions on next steps. As I had been on medication for BPH for over two years with little success, the best course of action for me seemed to be surgery. While there were other approaches, I wanted one that would fix the issue as best as possible, not manage it. Ultimately Dr. Mourtzinos performed a TURP. The surgery was quick, I was home the same day, had few, if any, side effects and have been very pleased with the results. Over the course of my office visits, exams, and planning for the surgery, Dr. Mourtzinos made himself available to quickly respond to phone calls and emails, answering all my questions. He ensured that I was familiar with what was being planned, how the surgery and after care would unfold, and next steps for a smooth recovery. I believe he is an excellent doctor and skilled surgeon. I am very happy to have found him, and highly recommend him.
