After reading Dr. Amlings history, his credentials and reviews, I went to see him for a FOURTH opinion on a Laparoscopic Partial Robotic Nephrectomy. When all the previous urologists expressed doubt, he beamed from across his desk with a 100% positive, I CAN DO THIS for you. I was 100% confident that he was the ABSOLUTE BEST urologist I could ask for. Fast forward. within a few hours after surgery, I literally could have gotten out of bed and walked home. I had a golf ball size malignant tumor removed from my kidney by a freakin' ROBOT operated by Dr Amling, like it was a video game, and I was in no pain, no discomfort and the operation was a complete success. OH ... I am his father, so what else did you expect me to say ??? Only kidding. He is as good as they get. Chairman of the Urology dept., Professor of teaching the Da Vinci Robotics system, past history coming out the ying yang. If he takes you as a patient, feel VERY fortunate and have complete faith !
