Dr. Janet Hilbert is a Yale Medicine physician and an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine. She obtained her medical degree at the State University of New York and completed her residency in internal medicine at Columbia University, followed by a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Yale University. Dr. Hilbert is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. Dr. Hilbert’s area of expertise is sleep medicine with an active clinical practice encompassing the full range of sleep disorders. She has a particular interest in complex sleep-breathing disorders and serves as medical director for the Yale Noninvasive Ventilation Program within the Yale Sleep Medicine Program. Dr. Hilbert is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FACCP) and a fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (FAASM).
