Pulmonary circulation is the passage of blood from the right ventricle through the pulmonary artery to the lungs and back through the pulmonary veins to the left atrium. Pulmonary disorders include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary hypertension, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, pulmonary edema, lung cancer and pulmonary embolism.
