Patient Reviews
Jul 29, 2022
My partner and I are in our mid-30's, not married and childless. We've been together ten years and both come from childhood adversity. We don't have very many resources or positive support in our life. We've had a some recurring issues in our relationship and it was time we overcome it or part ways because the issues negatively affect our individual mental health. Djamila has helped and continues to help us understand each other's communication styles better so we can approach the other one in way where they feel respected and heard. She is very fair and nonjudgemental. She asks good, reflective questions, shares compelling observations and has many different tools she uses depending on the individual or situation. I can't point to any one thing, but we've definitely grown individually and as couple from working with Djamila and so thankful to have found her as a reliable and insightful person to have in our circle when we encounter life's ups and downs.
