I was suffering for more than 10 years with urinary issues. I had been on medications and eventually my problems led to kidney failure on at least two occasions. Lucky for me I found urologist Dr Austen Slade. After some tests and listening to my history he assured me that he could help. He made me comfortable from the beginning and my decision was made with all confidence in him. I won't lie I was still a bit scared about the surgery, but his awesome surgical team at St Luke's relieved me of all of my anxiety. He performed the HoLEP surgery,which is the latest surgical procedure and very specialized, only a handful of urologists in the country are qualified to perform. Dr Slade even called me at home to see how my healing was progressing after surgery. It has been a month into my recovery and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. All of my previous symptoms have subsided and I feel better than I have in ten years.I would highly recommend Dr Slade to anyone.
