After we had dealt with the issue for which I’d come in, which had taken a fair amount of time, Dr Peterson sincerely asked, “And how are you doing otherwise?” In fact, I had been concerned about some other things for which I wouldn’t have made an appointment. But, because of Dr Peterson’s very real interest and ability to listen, I felt comfortable sharing those thoughts. His responses were insightful and empowering to me, and I went away feeling an increased peace of mind and optimism.
