My son is 15 now when he was 2 he was diagnosed with kidney disease by 4 he was on dialysis and was transplanted we've gone through many Dr’s at Columbia since they move on but Dr Kavanagh is definitely my favorite she ALWAYS calls us with results and answers any questions we have, and explains everything in terms that we totally understand. She never makes us feel like we are wasting her time, after 11 years my sons kidney does give us some problems here and there but Dr K is on top of everything. I really hope when it's time to transition to adults she does both pediatrics and adults so we don't lose her!!!!
