Apr 07, 2023
Dr Hwang did my corneal transplants in 2021. I inherited Fuchs’ Dystrophy and was rapidly going blind. My vision is now 20/20 & 20/25! He’s compassionate, caring, takes his time with each patient, even if running late. I drive three hours each way to see him, it’s worth every mile! He’s the best!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
