Patient Reviews
Jul 12, 2022
My primary doctor saw my PSA results (3.4) and recommended nothing. I went to Dr. Lizza a few months later for something completely unrelated and he suggested taking another PSA test. The results came back the same, but he thought it was too high. He sent me for tests, which at first came back negative for cancer. He could have easily let it go there, but to his credit he didn't let it end there like many doctors would have. He sent me for more tests and they eventually found prostate cancer. To me that is a sign of a doctor who truly cares. I can't thank him and the staff at Northwell for all they did. They are true professionals and I would recommend them any day.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
