How likely are you to recommend Dr. Cricchio?
I saw doc C for years. He was knowledgeable compassionate and a 1 of a kind doc. I was on high doses of pain meds due to a bad injury to my back. He kept me comfortable and functioning. Since he retired I was not able to find a doctor to help me because of the epidemic of people abusing the medication. Funny how I was on an large dose over 8 years and I was cut off and I am not a heroine addict. I took it for the right reasons and yes I had to detox off them but never went to the streets . So dont blame doc for the bad choices you or your family members made. He always took great care of his patients. Now everyday is a struggle living in chronic pain is no fun. When you cant function because of unbearable pain it is very upsetting that because people abused the 1 medication that truely worked you can no longer get it because doctors fear having their good reputations smeared by folks that had bigger issues that made them thing it was a good idea to go to the streets.
