Patient Reviews
Jul 21, 2021
Dr. Flaugher gave me the best opportunity to extend my life. I made an appointment to see Dr. Flaugher shortly after moving to South Carolina. I was having digestive issues and severe lower back pain. He listened intently to my issues and asked questions. He referred me for a CT Scan, an MRI of my spine and a consultation with a GI doctor. I had all 3 appointments within a week. I informed the GI doctor that I was scheduled for a CT Scan the very next day. The GI doctor obtained the CT Scan results and immediately scheduled an Endoscopy. The Endoscopy resulted in an Urgent referral to a Surgical Oncologist and a Hematologist Oncologist within a week. The Hematologist Oncologist informed me that I had Stage 4 Cancer of the Small Intestine and wanted to start Chemo within a week. His office moved mountains to make it happen.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
