How likely are you to recommend Dr. Nelson?
I met with Dr. Nelson several years ago when I had chronic low back pain—which I'd had for years following a bad accident and a lot of endurance racing. I was pretty stressed out at that point and sure I needed a lumbar fusion. He talked me through the pros and cons and advised that I take a pause and try a few other conservative treatments before moving forward with any kind of surgery. Five years later, I'm super glad I met with him and didn't get surgery. I tried a lot of alternative treatments and am basically pain-free.
