Very friendly and knowledgeable. His approach is casual, not stiff and clinical. He's very approachable and encourages meaningful dialog between doctor and patient. He effectively uses a casual approach and if appropriate uses humor. He helps you in exploring what are your mental health issues and guides you in finding solutions. Or how to positively live with your mental health conditions through understunderstand how you got to where you are. He encourages you to understand how your mental health affects your everyday life. He uses a combination of psychotherapy and medications. He constantly evaluates how effective your medication is and makes adjustments as needed or tries other combinations of medicines to achieve a beneficial balance. His time with patients is well spent and he encourages keeping regular appointments. At every appointment, he reviews your medications. Dr. Clifford understands patients of other cultures and is willing to learn about different cultural practices.
