Patient Reviews
Jun 15, 2022
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Emberesh and staff at St. Jude’s affiliate hospital in Johnson City. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable and experienced in pediatric hematology, she connected so well with Scarlett. From the moment she walked into the room, she got down on Scarlett’s level and played with her. She spent time with us and explained everything very clearly. Scarlett adored her. Feeling like you can trust someone with the care of your child is everything!!! A+++ *Scarlett was diagnosed with a form of pediatric neutropenia, which makes her very susceptible to infections. Thus far, we have gotten hopeful news that with close monitoring it should be manageable.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
