Hello. Dr. Dion replaced my right hip on January 2, 2024. The procedure was quick and I was back on my feet within about an hour or less. At home I used lots of ice and highly recommend doing such if you have this type of procedure. However, if the area you are icing is numb be very careful to not leave the ice on for too long. I was up and walking with a walker with some pain, but that is to be expected. In about a week to a week and a half I was able to drive. The incision is precise and the scar is very minimal. Thank you Dr. Dion! Also, Dr. Dion will be replacing my left hip soon. I have complete faith in him. Dr. Dion is very professional, intelligent, kind, and caring. If you disagree just talk to him. He’ll explain his decision making. There is a lot to take in so don’t be afraid to ask questions. He’s human too and we all do the best we can. I hope this helps. Thank you Dr. Dion. I am finally getting my life back at 53! Sincerely Deanna Shields
