I'd had severe back pain with sciatica for several years. I reasoned that a neurosurgeon would be better than an orthopedic specialist since the main nerve was a big part of the problem. At first visit he was on the chilly side, but the more he knew about my problem, the friendlier. I had surgery for a bulging disc, and that made all the difference. In his office and the hospital I noticed that he commanded respect from the nursing staff. Thanks again, Dr. Mujica!

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
