How likely are you to recommend Dr. Sampath?
On 10.31.18 I was in need of spinal fusion surgery. My L5 S1 was badly deteriorated and the disc needed to be removed and replaced. I had a TLIF surgery where my disc was removed and replaced and the shavings of the vertebrae were used to pack the area around the disc. Then Dr Sampath installed hardwear (that was created by him) that is in the shape of the letter H. This keeps the area short and tight so that things don’t shift. On Thanksgiving weekend, I was doing a 3 mile hike on snow packed flat trail with the use of trekking poles I did not have any more pain. I was monitored by Dr Sampath for the next 5 years with annual X-rays. I am not at the point 5 years later that my L3 L4 is collapsed due to degenerative disc disease. I did not fail to reach out to Dr Sampath. I am scheduled for an LLIF on 4.9.24Dr Sampath is the ONLY neurosurgeon that I trust. I will be traveling from NH to RI to have my surgery
