How likely are you to recommend Dr. Meagher?
Dr. Meagher is great in many ways. She is incredibly kind, patient, and is always willing to sit and discuss all options, even if it takes some extra time. She is the fourth rheumatologist I have seen for ankylosing spondylitis, and unlike the past two doctors I had seen prior to her, she actually listened to my 30 years of lived experience with this disease instead of dismissing me and assuming a book knows more about my body than I do. (If you have long-term experience with doctors, you know how rare that is!) She's excellent at offering and explaining new treatment options. She has a positive approach, but she is also good at seeing when treatment is more trouble than it's worth. I don't live in St Paul anymore, but it's worth traveling to be able to remain her patient. I can't recommend her enough.
