I was recommended to Dr L by my urologist who also is an incredible urologist, recommended by my friend, an anesthesiologist. So when professionals within the industry recommend to family & friends it weighs significantly for me who I can trust. First to address the many comments on the “long wait times”, yes I too have waited a long time for my visits but it’s because he is in surgery daily at the hospital across the street. He is busy not out of greed but because he is so highly recommended and well known for his expertise and he lives for his patients and simply gives as many people his time and care. Dr L is an expert period. I believe is or was a professor at UM. I had kidney stone surgery, one that can be difficult and one that if the surgeon is not skilled can do some major damage. After researching & watching videos on my procedure I knew I could only trust this highly recommended doctor to perform my surgery. He is actually funny and kind when you get know him.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
