How likely are you to recommend Dr. Patel?
This review is much more than about a particular visit. In September of 2019, 4 months after a two-week-long hospital stay and two surgeries to remove a square-foot squamous cell carcinoma from my back, I met with and agreed to have radiation treatment (accompanied by immunotherapy) to handle this recurrence. At one point in my daily six-week radiation treatment regimen, personally battling with the radiation treatment side effects and not making it to each daily treatment, Dr. Patel told me "WE can beat this, you just have to show up every day to ensure the most beneficial treatment outcome". Dignity changed some of the accommodations I needed for radiation and I showed up every day going forward. It is with great gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Patel and his expressing my chance at life to me and for his incredibly dedicated nurse Dawn, I report to you I am here almost four years since starting radiation.
