Patient Reviews

Dr. Kayyal has been a beacon of hope for our family. Prior to finding him, we navigated a nightmarish experience with other neurologists for our 4-year-old daughter, who was plagued by seizures, leading to bi-weekly emergency room visits. The wrong medications exacerbated her condition until we connected with Dr. Kayyal. Under his care, our daughter’s life took a positive turn. Dr. Kayyal’s expertise became evident as he carefully adjusted her medication to the right dose and type. The results have been astonishing—seizures now occur only every 3-4 months, and, remarkably, we haven’t visited the emergency room since. Dr. Kayyal’s commitment to detail and his willingness to delve deep into her case go beyond what we experienced with any other medical professional. What sets Dr. Kayyal apart is not just his medical proficiency but his genuine care for his patients. He consistently demonstrates his dedication by promptly responding to our concerns, a level of responsiveness we never encountered with other doctors. His compassionate approach and heartfelt commitment to his work make him a rare find in the medical field. Having sought help from numerous doctors and specialists for our daughter’s medical condition, Dr. Kayyal stands out as the one who truly took the time and effort to understand and address her needs. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kayyal to anyone seeking not just a neurologist, but a caring and dedicated partner in their medical journey.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
