How likely are you to recommend Dr. Beckman?
She is a very caring doctor. She is a great listener who is definitely the best endochrinologist I have seen. She is the first person in 25 plus years of my being diabetic who took the time to explain things instead of just ordering me to do it. I am a guy who needs to understand why I am doing something before I will do it. I have been given the incorrect or inappropriate information for years, but she has helped me tremendously. After two visits, I finally have the tools CGM) and the medicine I need to get my blood sugar under control. On my second visit, I stated that I wanted to get my A1c down to 7.0 or less during the next three months. She said 'Good News!,' your recent blood work shows 7.0 A1c. It hasn't been that low since 2005.From the bottom of my heart, thank you. As a disabled veteran it means a great deal to me to hear someone say thank you for your service. For someone to do something that demonstrates that gratitude, is more than I can put into words.
