I met Dr Kuklo about 14 years ago when a pain mgmt. Dr suggested that I give him a try. I was on barely working at the time, in extreme pain from a worn out artificial disc at L5-S1. I was a trial patient in the early 2,000's for the Pro-Disc artificial disc FDA approval study in the U.S. Because of the general newness of the disc, I was having a hard time finding a qualified 2nd opinion to explain the pain I'd been living with for the past 6+ years. He was able to see that the disc had indeed worn out and we agreed to fuse that level. That was the 1st of my 4 SUCCESSFUL back surgeries done by Dr Kuklo and his team over the past 14 years. He has since fused L3-L4, L4-L5 and performed a discectomy at L3-L4 to get me back on my feet in time for my daughter's college graduation from CU Boulder. I'm in need of another surgery and there's no one else who I'd even consider opening my back. He's not only my surgeon but a trusted friend. Can't recommend he and his staff enough.
