Patient Reviews
Sep 30, 2022
I am writing this three days after surgery where Dr. removed my C4-5 and C6-7 discs and replaced them with M6-C artificial discs. The fact I am able to type this now without any pain medication in my system is a tribute to technology, my surgeon’s skill, and the fact that my current pain from being cut open is no worse than a typical day over the last six months that included a varying degree of radiating pain in my arms and additional pain under my shoulder caused by pinched nerves. (Note that was from right after my surgery and now a week later I am even feeling better). Dr. Lo was great from the beginning. We had two phone consults and one in-person meeting before surgery. He was very patient with me as I had a lot of questions. He was always very even-keeled and never tried to sell me anything. He just laid out all the facts based on the imaging and made his recommendations. So, far so great!

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
