How likely are you to recommend Janet Hosford-Lamb?
I have been seeing Janet for several years. She has gotten me through some tough times. I would call her style adaptive, based on what you need. Just need to talk and vent, she will listen. Need to break a habit or make a change, she help you create a plan using all the tools in her arsenal. She has helped me talk through trauma, reframe distorted thinking, and learn strengths I didn't know I had. She is friendly, funny, professional and compassionate - however, you set the tone. You have to share what you need, express where you WANT to be, and she will help you get there. It will be WORK. But it is worth it. I have become more self-aware, learning to spot ways I sabotage my own efforts. Not by telling me outright, but leading me to discover it myself and giving me the tools to change. She even got this cynic to use daily affirmations! As for you, dear reader, kudos to you for being here, looking for help!
