Lakisha is one of THE MOST personable and understanding people I have ever met. I can tell that she doesn’t think of her role as a therapist as just her “job;” she genuinely cares.It’s really nice to know there’s someone out there that does. I’m so grateful I get to work with her because I had to wait on the waitlist. Excavation is the word I would use to describe my experience. I feel like we are breaking deep ground, clearing the land and tilling the ground to go deeper below the surface to get to the root cause, to pull it up from the roots. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, my hope is being restored again. Lakisha gives me the tools I need to navigate thru the pain and trauma I have experienced in my life and she gives me homework all the time. I’m grateful for her expertise and experience, this is exactly what I needed to unravel from the past. She has really changed my life. I have worked with others and already have answers. She was worth the wait!
