In short - hire Laurice as your midwife and Natalie as your Doula. Together they are an amazing team. Details - This was my third baby. First was a c-section. Second was VBAC in the hospital and third was at home with Laurice and Natalie. Laurice was fully supportive of have a vaginal birth after a c-section. She welcomed my two other children during appointments and they enjoyed playing with the toys in her office. She is super devoted to her patients. My pregnancy was late, very late and she checked the baby several times a week and even came to my house on a Saturday to check and make sure everything was still progressing fine. It was. Baby was kicking around and enjoying life on the inside. The birth when it came went super quick and Laurice and Natalie were seamless. Laurice came to our house many times over the next few weeks postpartum and talked on the phone with me a lot as I struggled from postpartum depression (as I have had previously). She helped me navigate through it.
