How likely are you to recommend Timothy Barnard?
I saw Tim many years ago when going through outpatient intensive group therapy. I was the youngest patient of the group. Tim is, to this day, the best therapist I’ve ever seen. He speaks to you with authenticity, not like he’s going off a script or being disingenuous. He has a great sense of humor and, despite the dark times the patients in the group were experiencing, I always felt happier and lighter just by being in Tim’s group. You could describe him as chill, down-to-earth, humorous, and understanding- but, at the same time, he will not baby anyone. I think this is the most affective form of therapy, one that guides us to admit the truth to ourselves, to admit what is helping or harming us and others, and to choose on our the best path to healing. It’s the kind of therapy that actually allows people to get better. Nearly a decade later Tim is still the best therapist I’ve ever seen!
