How likely are you to recommend Dr. Beckley?
This man should be wearing a superhero cape as my life was saved by his skillful hands and mind.I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (highly aggressive and invasive) in November of `23. Akin Beckley, MD was the only breast oncology surgeon in the region that I came across who was willing to modify a tight surgical schedule to get me in before my prognosis would have worsened. I told him that I was 'desperate' to have the tumor removed and kept getting the neoadjuvant chemo run-around from other practices as well as 'We can see about getting you in January of `24'. January?! He remarked that I am being REASONABLE in wanting immediate excision. His semi-soliloquy to himself: 'I am going to help this woman' ' and he did exactly that, operating on me before Christmas, with a superb bedside manner and a winning smile. He made sure my parents understood what was to happen during the double mastectomy and he even made an effort to speak with my 10-year-old about her though
