Patient Reviews
Jul 21, 2017
Dr. Contreras took care of my mother during an intensive hospitalization at Dell Seton. She was remarkable - thoughtful, caring, careful, attentive, smart. She was careful to understand my mother's preferences and counseled her about different medications. She changed medications that other physicians had prescribed in order to reduce nausea, reduce fall risks and increase comfort. She carefully adjusted doses based on what her body could process.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
