How likely are you to recommend Dr. Malik?
A Dr. that truly cares for the complete well being of those in his care! Dr. Malik, Dr. Dhillion-Athwal, and Dr. Lwanga are my primary Dr.s when I'm in the hospital. When I first met Dr. Malik we had a rough start and got into a bit of disagreement. My nurse (Debbie on Oncology Somerset Medical) came into my room and saw me crying and went and found Dr. Malik with another patient and told him I was upset. Dr. Malik came back to my room, pulled up a chair next to my bedside held my hand and cried because I was upset! He talked with me about my life, my two daughters, and how lupus and gastropariesis due to lupus effect my family and understood why I was upset to have to stay in hospital through Christmas and New Years. We worked together as a team and set goals for each day and with his knowledge/ guidance I went home before New Years Eve! 2019 my daughter became gravely ill and Dr. Malik and Dr. Lwanga cared for her and I knew she couldn't be in better hands!
