Patient Reviews
Aug 02, 2018
Dr. Mathern performed an emergency craniectomy on an immediate family member after a serious automobile accident. Dr. Mathern quickly diagnosed the problem and operated within hours and provided excellent care. Dr. Mathern's exceptional skills saved my family member's life, and gave us hope. The follow up appointment and additional surgery three months later performed by Dr. Mathern at VCU Health were handled in a professional manner. If I ever need a neurosurgeon I would call Dr. Mathern.
