How likely are you to recommend Dr. Lyerly?
I went to Dr Lyerly seeking a second opinion after another podiatrist recommended an extreme solution to my problem that would have required me to be on crutches for 6-8 weeks and would have left me with permanent limitations. I didn’t tell Dr Lyerly what the other Dr recommended, only that I wanted a second opinion. First of all , he showed me my x-rays and clearly explained what was causing my pain— something the previous doctor did not do. Then he outlined a plan for minimally invasive surgery that would be done on outpatient basis, would allow me to bear weight on my heel and use a cane the first day, and all stitches would be removed and I would walk normally in 3 weeks. I had the surgery with Dr Lyerly 10 days ago and I am amazed at how well I am walking and how little pain I experienced. I am so glad I decided to consult Dr Lyerly and I highly recommend him.
